Parents always want their kids to become quick studies at their schoolwork.  But when home schooling mom Sandra found her son struggling to read and unable to remember his numbers, she knew something significant was wrong.

The following Vision Therapy Success Story comes to us from Dale and Kari.  Their daughter Paige (sitting on fence in photo with her dad and older sister) at one time could not read questions on a piece of paper held inches from her face.  Read Kari’s first-hand account of their vision therapy story!

Our colleague Dr. Dominick Maino posed an interesting question on his blog:  If 33% of patients are strabismus surgery failures, are they suffering a decrease in their quality of life as well?

Are all eyeglasses created equal?  The answer is no – especially when it comes to performance lenses.  They may look the same as “regular glasses,” but how they work and the way they can improve your vision is very different.

Dr. Kellye Knueppel and Kim Jelinske conclude their Asian adventure with a trip to Japan.  After volunteering at the Special Olympics in Korea, Dr. Knueppel and Kim's next stop was the Japanese Optometry School in Nagoya.
