College...and Then Some: Another Vision Therapy Success Story

A success story from Angela Martin, a client of The Vision Therapy Center. My lifelong dream was to get a college education, but it seemed as though it would be impossible for me to achieve that goal. No matter how hard I studied for those exams, I just couldn’t seem to get better than a C. If high school was that hard, how hard must college be?

I knew I’d never be able to handle it. Then, my junior year of high school, I went through the vision therapy program, and my life changed.

I received my BA from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Within my major, I earned a GPA of 3.5, something I would not have believed possible 5 1/2 years ago.

My dream has come true, but it doesn’t stop there. I have decided that I would like to pursue a Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I won’t know for a while if I’ve been accepted into the program, but never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I, the oh-so-average student, would ever even consider trying for a Masters.

I could not have come as far as I have without the support of my family and the help of those at The Vision Therapy Center. I can’t thank them enough.
